Women Helping Women

Danae Simonski and Amy Micka  graciously volunteered to co-chair the Women’s Celebration Event for the evening of Tuesday, March 12, 2013. This event was held at the Community Connections (Senior Center) and began at 6 p.m. Tickets were sold by AAUW members, Betty’s Books, Earth & Vine, and Zephyr for $15.00 each. The event featured appetizers and desserts from Zephyr, wines from Earth & Vine, a raffle, and keynote speaker, Kay Petrick. The proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the B.M.S. Kiva whose advisor is Bill Mitchell. We extend a heartfelt thanks to all who contributed to making this evening a success!
